creating a constitutional assembly of citizens/people without party-memerships. chosen by lottery. finding effective norms against bad developments of “globalization” and party-oligarchies!
realizing a social and ecological many-system, priority for ecology, preventing rising dept! …
that’s the only way to get confidence in european integration and future!

the USA need such an assembly, too.
thomas jefferson said: people should vote all 20 years on constitution (-reforms). so new york state is doing.

in germany I try to get a german + european constitutional assembly by dicision of our supreme-court.

I am a french citizen and I would like to found a place on the web where I could tell the Irish people to not feel guilty if they say no.

In France, during the referendum about the european constitution, french people said no, so what did they do ?

They told us that we were threatening the european cohesion and they ( politicians ) will found solutions to ensure our european partners that frenchmen and frenchwomen were not against europe but it was a national sanction against our government policy.

Secondly they had the great idea to shift words and they started talking about something which was not a constitution but “just” a “treaty”, the Lisbon Treaty.

Some specialist ( yes we are a country of specialist, whatever you do, you must be a specialist to be allowed to do it wrong…sounds Murphy’s law isn’t ? ) said that the Lisbon Treaty was exactely the same as the European constitution which french people said “No” to, at a coma.

They proposed the Lisbon treaty to the french parliement which accepted it whtih a great majority against the french people feeling and early decision.

So we are now, in europe, considered to have taken our responsabilities as a “great democratic country”…at least it’s what we have been told…

I have no lessons to give, but as we see in France and in other countrys that our governments step on our democratic decisions ( if it’s still mean something at a political level ) , I only can warn you to try, as long as you can, to keep your rights up, as a Nation, as a People.

And there is absolutely nothing to do whith any will to oppose fraternity between peoples of europe on the contrary we can fraternize if we are free.

So please feel free to say “No” and not guilty if you do so.

I ask your help for us all from germany. Most people in the 27 country’s are NOT AGAINST the european union but AGAINST an EU of the big businesses. Against an antidemocratic if not to say a faschist EU which do not care about their people. Wich do not care about our children and which do not care about peace.

They only care about foreign ressources which they want to “secure” for europe by means of war if neccessary.

They will send our children into dead, just to save their profits.

Again, good people of ireland. Remind your history as a strong and free nation and as well remind your responsibility for every other european nation who don’t have the opportunity to vote about their future.
